Take your training to the next level this summer by joining our amazing faculty for a 1-3 week intensive. Our intensives are open for the serious ballet student looking to reach higher levels of training and growth both artistically and technically. Led by our amazing faculty including Susan Dromisky, Amy Tremante, Sonia Orrante, Jimmy Orrante, and Emily Glinski. Several guest teachers from various professional ballet companies will also enhance our program.

1. Pre Professional / Trainee Intensive

Trainee level intensive: June 9th-13th 9:30am-3pm Cost $650
Pre Professional level Intensive: June 16th-20th 9:30-3pm Cost $550

If a student places into our trainee level for the summer and would like to attend both weeks cost will be $960

This trainee/pre professional program intensive is open to pre professional and trainee level students from other schools. With the convenience of three hotels within walking distance outside the Columbus area students can have an opportunity to train at a sought after program. This intensive is early enough in the summer that it will enhance and condition those students gearing up to attend various other summer intensives. Daily ballet technique, variations, pointe, contemporary, partnering, conditioning, jazz, and several other classes will provide a well rounded program.

2. Young Dancer’s Summer Intensive

For the serious ballet student ages 10-14 years old with previous classical ballet training
July 7th-24th

10-11 year olds July 7th-17th 9:30-1pm (classes are held Monday-Thursday) cost $650
11-13 year olds (based on placement class and application) July 14th-24th (classes are held Monday-Thursday) 9:30-3pm $880
12-14 year olds (based on placement class and application) July 7th-23rd (classes are held Monday-Thursday first two weeks and Monday-Wednesday the 3rd week) 9:30-3pm first two weeks and 9:30-12pm last week $1180

If a student is only able to attend one week the cost will be $490. Please let us know on your application which week you can attend.

We welcome students ages 10-14 years old from other schools into this July intensive. Students will be given a comprehensive experience that is thoughtfully structured to challenge, enhance, and build strength especially for this aged dancer. Daily classes in ballet technique, variations, modern, contemporary, jazz, character, conditioning, body placement, injury prevention, and several others will thoroughly enhance the student’s experience at NABC. Our highly trained, devoted, caring, and passionate faculty will provide classes that are motivating and skill oriented. This is the perfect program for the competition dancer to enhance their technique.

3. Junior Intensive

June 23rd-27th

AM session for the dancer 9-10 years of age with previous ballet experience. 9:00-12:15pm $355
PM session for the dancer 7-9 years of age with previous ballet experience 12:30-3:30pm $355

Our junior intensive is for the 7-10 year old ballet student looking to enhance their ballet training in a classical ballet environment. Students will attend daily ballet technique and stretch class. Classes in modern, jazz, character, story ballet, and hip hop will be taught throughout the week by our highly trained and professional faculty. We welcome students from other schools during the summer to this ballet intensive for a fun, engaging, and very meaningful experience in dance.
