Analiese Capponi
Analiese began her formal dance training at Philadelphia Dance Theatre under the direction of Joy Delaney-Capponi. Through PDT and its various performances and outreach opportunities, she found not only a love for dance, but a deep appreciation for the power of the arts to deeply engage with the community. Analiese attended The Harid Conservatory, Houston Ballet, and the National Ballet School of Canada, all on full tuition scholarship. With the National Ballet of School of Canada under the direction of Mavis Staines she trained with Richard Smith, Deborah Hess, and Vera Timashova and had the opportunity to perform works by Peggy Baker and James Kudelka. She has also attended The American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, and Regional Dance America’s National Choreographic Intensive. Ms Capponi was awarded “Outstanding Performer” at the 2015 Regional Dance America Festival for her performance in Ruka White’s ‘Flock’. Since 2020 Analiese has been performing, teaching, dance modeling, and working as a freelance artist. She has earned certifications in Progressing Ballet Technique and CPYB’s Teacher Training. In 2024-2025 Ms Capponi spent her season with Dayton Ballet, under the Direction of Brandon Ragland. She performed in Robert Curran’s ‘Coppelia’, Brandon Raglands new rendition of ‘The Nutcracker’ as well as his ‘Cinderella’. Through Dayton Ballet, Analiese also completed outreach performances in local schools to help bring ballet to children. It is opportunities such as that as well as teaching dance, which bring her the most joy.
