New Albany Ballet Company was founded in 1999 by Artistic Director and Owner, Tara Miller, to offer training in ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance to students of all levels. Over the past sixteen years, New Albany Ballet Company has grown to include over 600 students, and is one of the most respected dance programs in the midwest.

Pre-Professional dancers from New Albany Ballet Company have had the opportunity to study with the American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Chautauqua, Orlando Ballet, Houston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and the North Carolina School of the Arts. In addition, several NABC graduates have been accepted into the dance programs at The Ohio State University, the University of Cincinnati, and Indiana University.
