Brooke Moore

Brooke Moore was born in Latrobe, PA, where she began dancing at Laurel Youth Ballet School. She continued her training with Pittsburgh Youth Ballet and San Francisco Ballet School. In 1998 she was offered an apprenticeship with SFB and the following season became a member of the Corps de Ballet. Brooke joined Pennsylvania Ballet in 2007, was promoted to Soloist in 2008, and in 2012 was promoted to Principal Dancer. After an 18-year professional career Brooke retired from the stage in the Spring of 2016.

Ms. Moore graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts. She has taught at numerous ballet schools and has been involved in several outreach and educational projects. Brooke lives in Columbus with her husband and son. She is very excited to share her love for ballet with the students of New Albany Ballet Company.
